Hamper presentation to St. Vincent De Paul

Hamper presentation to St. Vincent De Paul

This morning in school we had a very special visitor.  Siobhán Nash (Granny to Jamie, Marc and Nina Blavin, Aoife, Oisin and Eanna McCarthy and Colm and Caoimhe Nash) who volunteers with the Macroom branch of St. Vincent De Paul, popped in to collect a hamper of goods collected by the families of the boys and girls in Mrs Doyles classroom.  Mrs Doyles classroom was nominated to represent the families of all the children in Canovee National School.  Siobhán thanked the children for their generosity and explained that all the items in the hampers would go to help local families in need.   Siobhán has also promised to call back another time (when there are no restrictions) and talk to the children in more detail about the wonderful work of St Vincent De Paul.
